Glitz and Glamour at the Rwanda-Burundi Night Event

Gaining steady momentum, the Rwanda-Burundi Night has continued to prove its worth, with each staging held. Its previous session on 29th April was another successful venture for most.

Hosted by Cayenne Lounge and Restaurant  in Kampala, Uganda, the event attracted not only huge numbers of Rwandans, Burundians and Ugandans, but added onto the stage acts unlike before.

Event started around 8pm as Rwanda’s Deejay Africano warmed the crowd till artistes started performing. With Ugandan based Rwandan socialite Judith Heard Emceeing the evening,  performances were unveiled by Kebby Boy from Burundi and his energetic dancers, who impressed. This was followed by Bruce Melodie was , who proved, of how a huge asset he is when it comes to live music as he entertained the music-thirst crowd, through live Performance,backed up by TUK Band-a skillful Ugandan Band.

Sheebah Karungi, backed up by TUK Band, stormed the stage too and  energetically delivered too live. The Dancehall queen  indeed quenched many, as onto their feet they were.

Concluding stage vibe, were the Urban Boys,  who impressed immensely. Though having done a playback performance, the Primus Guma Guma Super Star 2016 winners still lit up the crowd.  Rwanda’s Arthur Nkusi and Uganda’s Alex Muhangi, the well known two comedians in the region were among those who attended, and they too did some stunts, which cracked up the audience, while Deejay Africano took one, then he again  kept the crowd dancing till 5am.
