Onto her current music tour dubbed Total World Tour, UK Award winning musician Joss Stone left more than just the wonders in Kigali Rwanda. On top of her deep, alluring stage embrace and unique stage presence on June 1 2017, which left enthusiasts oozing with excitement for the star, she also recorded a song with Deo Munyakazi, a rising young traditional instrumentalist.
During the Sessions
Entitled Urakwiriye Mwami (Worthy to be Praised),the song was written by Munyakazi, while it was presented by both Artistes, together with Steve, a guitarist. The song is a fusion of Inanga(Rwandan Guitar), the modern Guitar and vocals by the Artistes.

Unlike the usual manner of hitting studios, Joss Stone’s evolving culture of collaborations with Artistes worldwide is fully live, recorded from a natural setting.
This tour, which kicked off in 2014 has seen the star recording live music projects with various musicians, including Africans too.
In March this year, when in Lagos, Joss made something with Nigeria’s Nneka Egbuna, and together with Sweet Sounds band, they sang ‘Babylon’, an African mellow acoustic feel.
