Having concluded his performance Series dubbed Expericment, musician and Spoken Word Artiste Eric Ngangare alias Eric 1 Key returns with a fresh angle this year.
The Expericment Film
Unlike before, the event dubbed The Expericment scheduled for February 3rd 2017 at Neo Café in Kiyovu, Kigali from 7pm, is to mainly feature the premiere of a documentary film of Ngagare’s journey as an Artiste.

Directed by Ismael Isumbabyose, and produced by Eric Ngangare, the film is an insight an Artiste writing his destiny. The director follows the ups and downs of the multi-talented artiste as he prepares, sets up, presents and analyses his life. The film closely follows up Ngangare’s Expericments series, which lasted for over seven months- entailing solo and joint live performances with fellow artistes by the artiste and his band, views on his source of inspiration, and how he defines himself. Right from a reflection of what is was before his births, per-colonialism to colonialism through religions to independence and the present day sojourns of life.
The film further re-defines the artiste, who ‘wears many Hats’ – from a Blogger, Musician, Poet, Actor to an Arts consumer. More it is how society defines and perceives his art, and the pain he pours out as an Artiste rising- in hope of earning from his, sweat one day. More surprise insight it entails…
