Rising stand-up, Comedian Collins Bareija, whose stage name is Emeka is surely holding a lot up his sleeves lately. The comedian, who regularly performs at the Comedy Files, a prominent live concert held weekly in Kampala is these days also pursuing an acting career.
The comedian, who is famous for his Nigerian and Indian stunts is the new face to excite many in a new television series soon to be aired later this year.
On Set
Entitled Di Chronica , the project initiated by Lexo Films kicked off last year, with a feature film called Campus Life. At its successful feedback, it further paved way to Di Chronica Series. In this upcoming series, Emeka takes on a main role of a guy called Ben.
About the Series
Directed by Ben Lexus of L. Media, it is a University series, portraying life students residing at the university campus, the relationships they fall into, the ugly face of it- drugs dealing, the gangs, and tapping into lecturers’ lives too.

“I’ve always been an actor since high school, and I was inspired a lot by Daniel Omara, when he acted in the Hostel Series. By also watching many movies, Watching Kevin Hart also inspired me. These two are comedians but still act well and I have a dream to be in Hollywood too,” remarked Emeka.
