With the situation tense, while deaths have been reported, and media being showered by the Xenophobia attacks news, Nigerian Award winning Artist Tiwa Savage has taken a bold step when she came out to cancle her upcoming South African appearance.
Onto her social media handles, the star condemned the Xenophobic attracts in South Africa, and vowed not to turn up at the DSTV Delicious Festival, which is scheduled for September 21 in Johannesburg.
I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.

Following her tweet, various reactions have sprouted especially from her South African fans, who were awaiting her.
Since last week, foreigners living in South Africa have been waking up to torture, looting of their shops and deaths by locals.
