Did the Tuff Gangs’ reunion die with Jay Polly?

-Kigali

Renowned rappers Bull Dogg, Fireman, Green P, and P-Fla who are also former Tuff
Gang members, a local Afro Hip-hop group are for the first time working on a reunion album, which they are recording with Producer Devydenko.

The rappers had in May 2020 attempted to hold a live virtual performance dubbed Tuff Gangs live on Stage, which didn’t go well after being halted by the police on claims of lack of proper authorization.

Initiated in 2008, mainly through songs like Amaganya, Gereza, and Kwicumu, the group quite shook the local entertainment scenes by dominating several events and radio airwaves till its split in 2014, with members solely embarking on solo projects, while others suffered jail sentences, including the passing on of Jay Polly, who was the group’s key member.
