Nigerian Afro Pop and beats Artist Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has canceled her upcoming Kigali Concert.
Dubbed Born in the Wild Tour Performance, this highly anticipated event was scheduled to take place on March 22 at Kigali’s Bk Arena.
Through her social media handles, the Artist expressed concerns over the ongoing conflict between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which she calls out, and is concerned that affects lives.

For the past weeks M23 Rebels have advanced into DRC hence recely capturing Goma, a DRC city and displacing people. DRC has pointed with oersistance at Rwanda for aiding the Rebels, which Rwanda denies.
Tems’ move has sparked reactions, and outrage among her Kigali fans; with many calling it an unfair decision.

With Rwanda safe from the raging war, the update has drawn more attention as regards whether Kigali will in the coming days attract entertainment events especially by foreign Artists.
