For the fourth edition, the Ubumuntu Arts Festival is returning. The festival originating from Rwanda, and was founded majorly for the recognition of Arts in relation to Humanity, is calling for submissions from various artistes from around the world.
On stage
The festival is scheduled to take place from July 14th to 16th in Kigali, Rwanda. Just like its last edition, activities this year will include Children and the young, women and youth presentations. Activities featured include plays, music, contemporary and traditional dances, workshop sessions, Art exhibitions, Poetry among other activates directed towards defining Ubumuntu (humanity).
The festival, which has grown from just Rwandan presentations to hosting countries Kenya, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania from East African, and spanning to Ethiopia, South Africa, DRC, Sudan and others through and outside the African continent to France, America, Germany, Cambodia, Belgium is hoped to attract over 20 countries this year.
