Tanzanian star Darassa is believed to be gracing Kigali stages. The Muziki hit maker is to highlight Pressing Forward, a youth get-together event this month, which has been organised by Sick City Entertainment.
Taking place on August 11, at The Kigali Exhibition and Conferences Village, this event is a youth initiative motivating young people to unlock their potential, and will feature a panel of different people from various institutions.
Darasso Performs
For over three years now, Shariff Thabeet alias Darassa has gained a name, especially for his unique music craft, which is a blend of Bongo Flavor, easy-going rap and the groovy beats. In Rwanda, just like the rest of East Africa, Darassa’s music is highly enjoyed.
The Bongo flavor Rapper will perform alongside Dj Miller, Dj Toxxyk and Dj Marnaud . Also to be featured will be traditional and modern dance performances.
Its doing a concert but learning something too. It is a productive Entertainment initiative, explains Christian Ntwari of Sick City Entertainment.
Initiated over six years ago, Sick City Entertainment is a youth initiative aiming at inspiring, sensitizing and empowering youth on becoming impactful citizens- through the use of music, dance, drama and poetry.
