2022 ASFAS WINNERS List

It has undoubtedly consistently captured the Ugandan, and gradually the African events calendar as a potential fashion platform. Returning after 2 years, the ASFAs three-day Fashion Weekend cemented a firmer footprint. The event reflective upon the fast growth of the fashion industry in previous years by recognising and awarding outstanding ones prevailed.

With this year’s edition to have returned with vast showcases, interactive debates about the Welfare and future of African Fashion, Its grand finale, which took place on December 15 at the Kampala Serena Hotel featured a highlight of big brands through the showcase and awarding of local, regional, continental small and medium enterprises left a mark.

7. Most Stylish Male personality(Africa)- Ebuka
8. Model of the Year- Alaato Jazyper
9. Emerging Designer of the year(Menswear)- Teddy Ondo Ella
10. Emerging Designer of the Year(Women’s wear)- Wyne Kirabo
11. Designer of the year(Africa)- Moses Turahirwa
12. Most Stylish Female Artist of the year (Uganda)- Pia Pounds
13. Female Fashionista of the Year (Uganda)-Sherne Natukunda
14. Most Stylish Female Personality (Uganda)-Sandra Twinoburyo
15. Emerging Fashion Brand (Uganda) – Tru iKon
