Being its first edition, the Kigali Jazz Junction, an event which took place on February 23, at Kigali’s Serena hotel was another moment to reckon.
Special this time were the performances, right from Neptunez Band’s special tribute performance to the Ugandan late musician Mowzey Radio to the day’s guest acts.
Rwandan Afro pop and Traditional musician Jules Sentore, brought forth his rich traditional fusion through songs, backed by the Neptunez band and traditional dancers.

Uganda’s Irene Ntale too was a charm for many as she soaked into her audiences. For close to 3 hours, she took them through Afro soul to, with a Jazzy touch of songs off her Sembela Album.
