When terms like Class and Elegance pop up, then Rwanda’s House of Tayo is undoubtedly one of the finest designers to best emulate it all.
His recent, and probably one of the latest outfits is another sail into heritage, class and style. The 2018 collection dubbed Sankara, which was officially launched at Collective Rw Collection this year’s was inspired by some of the thoughts and ideas of the revolutionary, Thomas Isidore Nöel Sankara. He often preached of a self-sufficient, dignified Africa that has realized her full potential.
“Through my collection I explore themes of African dignity, change and women’s empowerment,” he stated.
And indeed the designer expressed this across the run way, where not only male, but female models gracefully rocked in the Army-Green colored outfits.

And as the edition was organised, the outfits were complemented by K’tsobe Jewels , which really added a glimmer to it all.
