Dubbed Our Past, it is an annual event initiated by youth, for the youth. Through music, contemporary dance, poetry and discussing, the event aims at commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tustis.
This edition which took place at the Gisozi Amphitheatre in Kigali featured more surprising activities.
It’s return this year is one which attracted more numbers to it. Our Past comes to change the face of the mainstream commemoration events, which haven’t before been spearheaded by youth.
