Rwanda-
With the Kigali International Comedy Festival heated up, a twist arises to its organisation as the famous Burkina Faso Comedians Siriki and Souke are not to grace this year’s festival as they bowed out hours into the press Conference for unjustifiable reasons.

“We had finalised with payments, tickets and negotiations, but they turned down the invitation at the last moment,” explained Michael Sengazi, one of the event’s organisers.
“We had affirmed their presence, but it seemed as though they had secured another gig, which they prefered,” stated Jerome Migisha, one of the organizers.
Not the first Time
With the comedians not turning up, it has happened before in Rwanda, were they were invited last year to perform in Kigali and they bowed out at the last moments.
The festival is to feature end tomorrow with one maga concert of both Francophone and Anglophone Comedians, who will include a variety of both local, regional and international comedians who include Daliso Chaponda(Zimbabwe), Saku(Japan), Babu(Rwanda), Herve(Rwanda), Cotilda(Uganda), Arthur(Rwanda), Karis(Kenya), George(Rwanda), Daniel Omara(Uganda), Divin(Burundi), Okello Okello(Uganda), Joshua(Rwanda), Emeka(Uganda), among other comedians.
