Uganda-
For quite some months now, some Rwandan music has not only surpassed boarders, but maintained a firm position onto radio airwaves in Uganda.
Musicians Jody, Dj.Pius, Charly&Nina
Its not by surprise that these songs have further hit clubs and also been nominated for Awards too-thanks to hard work. ArtsGlo brings you some of these songs, and the musicians behind them;
1.Owooma
Released last year, the song produced by Nessim did not only take hold of Rwandan radio playlists, but has and still plays big across Ugandan Radios. The groovy Afro-beat, and fused lyrics- of Kinyarwanda, French, English and Luganda drew masses to it, yet the musicians Charly, Nina and Geosteady quite do well vocally.

Produced by Paddyman, the Afro-beat song by Dj.Pius and Jose Chameleone has continuously rocked not only radios in Uganda, but also hangout spots, where it drives many ‘Party Animals’ wild to this day.

3. Body
A powerful dance-hall joint produced by Weezy features Uganda’s Afro-dance hall icon Rabadaba and Rwanda’s Jody Phibi. This tune started out on the low, but is one of the trending, and shaker across most radio stations in Uganda.

Others to follow steadily…
6. Gwe Weka Remix
Unlike its original version, which was written and sang by Uganda’s Ray Signature, when they released its Remix with Rwanda’s Jody Phibi, it took over the Ugandan Radio and Tv station Air waves. This song has already secured itself a position.

5. Play it Again
When Rwanda’s Dj.Pius met Ugandan duo Radio&Weasel, this track was born, though not so musc, it has been cropping up charts, and still thrives. Great song too.
