Afro- fusion musician Martin Maniruta aka Mani Martin recently started on with his Japan tour. Dubbed Japan peace tour, it is to comprise of 6 concerts in different provinces of Japan and performances in several peace events and celebrations of international organs like UNICEF, JICA and NPO, also in Rwanda, and are the organizers of the tour.
The Afro hit singer will also visit different universities and high schools, where he is to hold talks about peace and how he has used music as a contribution to peace building in Rwanda.
“I have already performed in Hiroshima city which was my first performance in Japan, there I visited the atomic bomb drop memorial center few hours before my performance on 6th June,” he explains. The musician also visited Hiroshima city university where he held a peace talk with students pursuing International studies peace building and conflict resolution.
This tour follows several more he has carried out through out the past where he has majorly performed in festivals. The musician has continuosly grown, and is determined to create more impactful music.
