Kenyan Rapper Khaligraph Jones recently came out and blamed local media for not doing enough in promoting of local talent.
Currently the 2018 AFRIMA winner for Best Rap Act, Brian Robert Ouko aka Khaligraph Jones‘ trip to Nigeria during the Awards is one which was geared much for him. The rapper came out, and put local media on spot for not doing enough when it comes to promotion of locally bread talents.
Khaligraph states that Nigerian music is taking over the global market because it is locally well promoted and consumed by media.
I was there, and witnessed it myself,” he explains
“My songs have been played, which I appreciate, but what of these talented rising Artists, who need promotion,” he cautions.
Khaligraph refutes claims that this campaign is a fight as some people may assume, “This is not a fight, its a plight,” he explained in a interview.
